Dr. Wesley Burks

Dr. Burks is Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at the UNC School of Medicine and physician-in-chief of North Carolina Children’s Hospital. As an expert in pediatric allergy, he is known internationally for his research in the development of immunotherapy for food allergy. Dr. Burks and his wife, Jan, live on Boundary Place right around the corner from the Study Center.
