Betsy Poole

Betsy Poole is the Director of Development at Duke Divinity School. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Betsy’s involvement with the Center for Christian Study in Charlottesville had a lasting impact on her life in Christ, and she is honored to help carry this ministry forward for the next generation. Betsy’s husband, Allan, serves as the senior pastor at Blacknall Presbyterian Church in Durham. The Pooles have three young adult children, Ellie, Sam, and Sarah — while Ellie is a Demon Deacon, Sam and Sarah are Tar Heels!
