Eric Chetwood

Board Member

Eric Chetwood, CFP® is a Managing Partner of the Adams Chetwood Wealth Management Group in Durham, NC.  He graduated from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC in 2003 and had the joy of meeting his future wife, Allison, at UNC’s freshman orientation.  After graduation, Eric completed a one year Bible program through the Denton Bible Church near Dallas, TX before beginning his wealth management career at Wachovia Securities. In 2007, Eric completed coursework and passed the ten hour Certified Financial Planner exam. Eric was also chosen to participate in the 2007 Leadership Durham program and the 2009 Leadership Triangle program. In 2015, Eric’s team started an independent RIA (registered investment advisory) firm and currently manage approximately $200 million for a select group of pre-retirees and retirees.  Eric presently serves as a directional elder at the Summit Church in Durham, NC. He and Allison have two sons, Noah and James, and are passionate about adoption, microfinance and social business.
