Misty Caffey

Misty grew up in Hendersonville, Tennessee and received her B.S. in Human Ecology / Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to joining NCSC, she worked in a variety of small startup and corporate businesses with her most recent experience as a UNC business officer with the Adams School of Dentistry and Department of Chemistry. Misty joined the Study Center at UNC in July ’22 and is excited to be a part of the team!

Misty and her husband, Tom, live in Chapel Hill, NC and have two adult sons.  She enjoys “All things Tar heel”, travel, hiking and spending time with family.

Misty has been active in her church communities for many years as a Sunday school teacher, VBS Director and a founding member of the Legacy women’s bible study.  She and Tom now attend Christ Community Church in Chapel Hill, where they continue to seek and grow their faith through study, fellowship, and service.
