Kevin Almond

Director of Philanthropy

Kevin Almond received his B.S. from the UNC-Chapel Hill. He spent his first eight years owning businesses in small communities throughout North Carolina. He spent the next 22 years in higher education with UNC. More recently, he has consulted in the biotech industry and various nonprofits, assisting with fundraising, governance and communications.

After being introduced to Madison Perry four years ago, Kevin and Madison began discussing nonprofit organizational behavior. In 2019, they formalized a relationship with part-time consulting for the Study Center.

Kevin has been active in the communities where he’s lived, attends Christ Community Church in Chapel Hill and grows his faith through group Bible study, conversations with friends and colleagues at the Study Center, and with the elders in his church.

Kevin assists the Study Center with fundraising and communications.
