Join us for dinner with Bible translator Dr. John Watters!  Dr. Watters (Ph.D. from UCLA in Linguistics) has previously served as Executive Director of Wycliffe International and SIL International, as well as president of SIL International.  His ministry as a Bible translator began in 1973 when he and his wife moved to Cameroon to serve in the translation and language development project among the Ejagham people of SW Cameroon and SE Nigeria. They mentored speakers of the Ejagham language, a ministry that contributed to the 1997 dedication of the Ejagham New Testament, as well as a developing literacy and Scripture use program.

4D Dinners provide an opportunity for UNC students and local alums to slow down, share a family-style meal, and hear from a lineup of thoughtful guest speakers reflecting on how their faith has shaped their respective vocations.
