The Fellows Program interest night has been rescheudled for Tuesday, September 12th from 5:00 - 6:45 pm (including dinner).
Interest Night
This evening is designed for all students who are considering registering for Fellows this year: it is a time to connect with other interested students, meet Study Center staff, learn more about the program, and experience what a typical Fellows Tuesday night feels like.
If you already RSVP’d, you are good to go! If you are no longer able to attend due to the date change, please email Ivy so we can update our catering order.
Applications
After the interest night, we will release the Fellows application, which will be due the following Sunday (Sept. 17th). We will then meet for back-to-back weeks (Tuesday, Sept. 19th & 26th) in order to get back on schedule. From then on out, we will resume our typical every-other-week meeting pattern.
The Fellows Program provides you with a biblical and theological foundation during your time at UNC. Fellows is modeled loosely after the core curriculum at a Christian college or university—it is designed to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and community to deepen your faith and connect it to all of life.
Fellows meet every other Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 6:45 PM during the fall and spring semesters. There is a time of interactive teaching, group discussion, and conversation over meals. The Year 1 curriculum covers the Old Testament (fall) and the New Testament (spring), tracing the overarching storyline of Scripture.
Each Fellow receives an ESV Study Bible, our assigned book Drama of Scripture, and a course companion with exercises that accompany each lesson.
There are also retreats, occasional social gatherings, and unique opportunities to interact with Study Center speakers and visiting faculty.
