For Such a Time as This: Living Out the Gospel during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Study Center Webinar with Dr. Nathan Thielman (MD, MPH) of Duke University

We are currently in the midst of a historic, uncertain and disquieting season in our nation's life. We are concerned for the health and well-being of the vulnerable among us, we are vexed by the volatility of the economy, and institutions that we take as a given, including our beloved university, have temporarily shuttered.

In our search for greater understanding of COVID-19 and for moral clarity about how to respond, many Christians are rightfully looking to two different authorities: scientific officials and Scripture.

In an attempt to bridge the gap between these two, Adam Enggasser (UNC '21) and Matt Hoehn (NCSC Director of Christian Thought) invite you to join our live virtual discussion on Thursday night with Dr. Nathan Thielman, MD, MPH, of Duke University. Dr. Thielman will lead us into a deeper understanding of what COVID-19 is, the public health risk that it poses, and what a Gospel-shaped response might look like.

Thursday, March 19th
7:30 - 8:30 p.m. ET
