Raised on a humble farm in Charlotte during the Great Depression, Billy Graham went on to become “America’s Pastor” and the world’s foremost evangelist of the 20th century.
Coinciding closely with the one-year anniversary of his passing, join us for an evening conversation with leading scholars of Billy Graham and his wife, Ruth: Dr. Grant Wacker (UNC and Duke) and Dr. Anne Blue Wills (Davidson).
Dr. Wacker and Dr. Wills have forthcoming biographies on Billy Graham and Ruth Graham, respectively. They will share about their research on the Graham family and will reflect on the impact of Billy and Ruth’s lives on our state, our nation and our world. Leighton Ford will offer closing reflections at the end of the evening.
This event is co-sponsored by the UNC Religious Studies Department and Intervarsity Graduate and Faculty Ministries and is open to the public.
