Educational Inequality and the Christian Response

LUNCH WITH PHILIP JAMES (UNC ALUM) OF THE MEMPHIS TEACHER RESIDENCY

Educational inequality has been called "the civil rights issue of our time" by both President Bush and President Obama.  What is the nature of this inequality?  And what might a faithful Christian response to it be?

To hear of one example, join us for catered lunch with UNC alum Philip James, recruiter for the Memphis Teacher Residency (MTR).   MTR employs a model of training that emphasizes the spiritual, social and instructional needs of teachers that they call 'Christian Community Education.'
