Veritas Forum w/ Dr. Ian Hutchinson

  • Genome Science Building 250 Bell Tower Road Chapel Hill, NC, 27599 United States (map)

Please join us to hear from Dr. Ian Hutchinson, as he explores whether faith and science are contradictory fields of inquiry. This lecture will take place on campus at 7 PM (Genome Sciences 100) and will be sponsored by many campus ministries and students groups.

Ian Hutchinson:

Hutchinson is a plasma physicist and Professor of Nuclear Science and Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He and his research group are international pioneers exploring the generation and confinement of plasmas hotter than the sun's center; experimenting on a world-leading magnetic confinement device they designed and built. In addition to authoring 200 research articles and a textbook about plasma physics, Hutchinson has written and spoken widely on the relationship between Science and Christianity.
